Brazil Energy has been prospecting new business opportunities, in addition to seeking potential partnerships in both partially or fully developed projects that can match our expected rates of return, especially with regard to projects focused on:

  • Photovoltaic Solar Power;
  • Gas fuelled Thermo Power;
  • Energy Trade.

_photovoltaic projects

In order to seek a higher upside from this source of power, which is expected to be fostered by the government through the purchase for the regulated market, the intention is to develop an experimental project with total installed capacity of 30 MWp.

_thermoelectric projects

Projects in different stages of development are being analysed, in order to seek an optimum cost benefit balance, as well as a shorter maturity. The intention is to develop at least two 300 MW units.

_energy trade projects

In order to support the best possible placement for the power to be generated by the company, in addition to trading power generated by other producers in the market, the establishment of an Energy Trading Platform is under analysis.
